Colombia Guadalupe Geisha - Roasted

Nah, not that sort of Geisha. Gesha or Geisha is a very unique coffee variety and crazy expensive due to it's low volume yields and often temperamental plants.

Grown around 1900m high in the Guadalupe mountains of Huila we roast this coffee to a medium depth but the higher sugar content makes it darker in appearance.

Huge florals off the grinder, sweet and peach juicy in the cup along with a subtle malty finish. Works great as a filter, espresso and even with milk and each method brings different characteristics to the cup.

Geisha coffees are a stunning experience and at $90/kg too expensive to drink everyday but a fun luxury to play with occasionally and explore what coffee can be.
