Mason's Creek Extra Virgin Olive Oil created with Corregiola and Frantoio varieties.
This would be one of the more unusual offerings on a coffee website but we enjoy it at home and thought we would share it with other CS'rs It's a great olive oil that is locally hand made using rain-fed, cold-pressed and wind blown Corregiola and Frantoio olives.
Mason's Creek don't irrigate to boost the crop yeild instead they prefer to let the olives develop naturally. The Frantoio/Correggiola olives are picked while still green which preserves more of the health-giving polyphenols. The result is a viscous, fruity olive oil with a slight peppery spice.
Packed in special 500ml tins to make freighting easier then the previous seasons glass bottles.
